Sims 2 pollination

Unless mods are used, a neighborhood only has one Pollination Technician; by default, all alien-Sim hybrids in a neighborhood that were born through alien abduction are either half or full siblings. When a Sim is impregnated by a Pollination Technician after being abducted, the Pollination Technician will be anonymous, but will appear in the hybrid child's family tree. The Pollination Technician can be removed from the family tree of an alien-Sim hybrid toddler or child if that hybrid toddler or child is taken away by the Social Worker and later adopted.

When this happens, the Technician and the birth father will both be replaced by the members of the adopting couple. The Pollination Technician will never appear as deceased in a Sim's family tree. In every neighborhood, he has no age bar. The only exception being Strangetown where he is an adult. A mod that unlocks the hidden alien face template the Pollination Technician uses can be downloaded here.

His outfit appears to be a more silvery version of the 'mad scientist' outfit in-game. According to his age data, he was 39 days away from being an elder , which implies that he may have had access to Elixir of Life at some point after he became an adult.

Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2 , Pollination Technician 7 is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE.

Despite being an alien, Pollination Technician 7's personality is more Sim-like than the partially perfect personalities the spawn of Pollination Technician usually has.

This is because he, unlike the NPC Pollination Technician, is a Sim, not a string of genetics passed on to alien hybrids. When checking his relationships in SimPE, Pollination Technician 7 oddly enough has relationships to his son, and his granddaughters even though he never met any of them. Unusually, his son Flamenco bears almost no resemblance to him, except for his high cheekbones. Most alien-Sim hybrids have the appearance of their alien parent, as aliens have very dominant genetics.

The only other instance of this happening is Jill Smith of Strangetown who has none of her father's alien genetics. This set comes with four pollination technicians: Two Males, Two Females, one of each hair color.

Two of them have slightly-than-larger eyes. The other two have eyes that are tilted interestingly. They almost all have slim noses but not to the extreme of the Maxis PT , pointed ears in variations of sizes , and high cheekbones with sculpted faces. I made them all myself, from scratch, in Bodyshop. Unfortunately for me, I can't use SimPE.

And by that, I mean that if I have it open for more than a minute or two, it slows my entire system to a painful crawl. Luckily for me, I have some amazing people on my friend's list! The wonderful and amazing thiskindofchaos was so kind as to take my bodyshop-created aliens and make them into PTs in her SimPE, then test them and send them back to me.

If you're curious, she used simgarooop 's illustrated tutorial. So, these PTs, while shown with MY defaults, will show with your defaults in game. You need to remove any other PT replacements before installing these. Now, for bigger pictures of all the PTs, and examples of potential alien children! Here are the two female pollination technicians. Slightly-larger-than-normal eyes, thin nose, pointy ears, thinner lips relatively normal face shape. Slightly-tilted eyes, semi-thin nose, pointy ears, plumper lips and high cheekbones.

The two male pollination techs! Eyes that are larger than normal, but not freakishly so. Slightly-tilted eyes, semi-thin nose, arched eyebrows, large pointy ears and smaller lips.
